The CVF Street Intercooler for 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST is a direct fit replacement that is over double the size of the stock unit. As the charts above indicate, during independent testing we've observed a reduction of over 41 degrees in Charge Air Temperature where it matters: on the street, and not at the dyno (the same vehicle under similar conditions for both the OEM and CVF Street Intercooler runs).

Went from charge temps at over 30 degrees above ambient to having consistently only 1 to 3 degrees above with this intercooler. That is not even to mention the perfect fit and ease of install, took me 20 min on jackstands, including removing the original one. Has held up for almost a year now, doing its job beautifully in the Texas heat.

I went with Jason at CVF because of the oe fitment. The castings are spot on, a great flow design, and fitment is perfect. Very impressive. It is not by any means a lightweight intercooler compared to a sheet metal end tank and plate and fin design, but this thing will out last the whole car, and will be great for my big turbo install.
Really solid welds, great finish. The t bolts required some work to get them indexed and not rub the radiator or core support, but no big deal, just the nature of the large end tank design.
In Las Vegas summer heat I haven't seen more than a 20 degree variance from ambient temps. Usual 17.

The intercooler was a huge upgrade over the stock unit in terms of performance and size. The swap process was straight forward enough for me to complete without any prior experience. The fitment was very good, the included bolts / mounting hardware worked perfectly. I saw 40f + drops in IAT2 temperatures (recorded with a Cobb AP) during test passes. With the stock intercooler at 72.5F ambient, the intercooler hit 127F+. After the install, the same pass saw only +1F to +3F over ambient (72F). I was at ~84mph in the test passes. The intercooler (while a test unit) looks great and performs much better than the stock unit. CVF staff were great to work with, would definitely recommend a solid product from a good vendor.
