The CVF Race Intercooler for 2015-2023 Ford Mustang EcoBoost is a direct fit replacement that is over 200% larger than the stock unit, featuring a core size of 21" x 15" x 4". As the charts above indicate, during independent testing we've observed a reduction of 92 degrees in Charge Air Temperature where it matters: on the street, and not at the dyno (the same vehicle under similar conditions).
EXCEPTIONAL CONSTRUCTION FOR MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY
Manufactured from top-grade aluminum, the CVF Race Intercooler features a TIG-welded bar-and-plate core design for maximum durability and computer-modeled, fully cast end tanks to ensure better airflow efficiency than the competition's welded aluminum end tanks. Additionally, the computer-aided design optimizes the flow of air, minimizing pressure loss.
APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION
While not required, the CVF Aluminum Intercooler Charge Pipe Kit is recommended. The OEM piping will fit, but the additional kit includes larger couplers for a much smoother installation as the intercooler's inlet/outlet are .25" larger than stock for performance-related design reasons.
The active grille shutters (AGS) have to be removed for installation. There is no check engine light associated with removal of the AGS and they can be placed back on the vehicle if the intercooler is removed.

I was surprised how stout these Race Intercoolers are! No doubt the best construction and material was used! Fits like a glove on my ‘16 Ecoboost. It didnt come with instructions, but if you step back and look and pay attention how you take out the stock piece, this intercooler just slides right in! Performance? no doubt its doing its job! I got the CVFab intercooler in August, the hottest month of the year for Florida. Before the intercooler I had a noticeable loss of power whenever I was driving during the day, it felt like I was driving a civic. Then I got the intercooler and the difference was night and day, I've never had problems since.

This intercooler is amazing, especially in Florida where I get heat soaked immediately after one pull. I’m not longer getting heat soaked. I’m also pairing it with cvf’s charge pipes with the hks flange. 100% worth buying, also makes the front of the car look better. Customer service is also the best of the best!
