APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION
The active grille shutters (AGS) have to be removed for installation. There is no check engine light associated with removal of the AGS and they can be placed back on the vehicle if the intercooler is removed.

Started with a street intercooler for my eco boost mustang and then a titan v2 for 2020 3.5 F150 and another one for my 2023 2.7 F150. Can’t go wrong with the build quality here at CVF

Built quality was amazing other then one of the alignment pins that made install a bit harder, ended up having to trim another 1/4” of plastic off the air shroud after removing the clip on extension (2022 tremor)

Purchased for my 2020 2.7L F150 Lariat. Firstly the install is not as simple as others claim. Removed the old intercooler, then removed the surrounding shroud, then the fins for the lower shutter, then had to cut approx 3/4-1" of plastic in the lower shutter area, remove the shutter motor and zip tie it out the way, for it to fit completely flush!. Fits like a glove but that was a pain. Performance wise, just the drive home I could feel it maintain my power/boost pressure and blow-off more smooth. Once my downpipes are on and I hit the track again I will compare performance and endurance. Overall, love the intercooler. It is stupid heavy and top quality. Very pleased. Pics attached show the thickness and fin length as compared to stock. Other pics are the new unit mounted up for you to see just how tight the fit was. Fyi in the video I said a Cvfab turbo blow off, that is incorrect. It is made by GFB (Go fast Bits) amazing product with stellar quality and loud deep blowoff note. Sounds incredible paired to the rest of mods.

Shipping was fast, quality was top notch!, paired this with a COBB stage 2 tune and my truck is like a rocket now. Easily the best Intercooler for the money spent. Look no further and just get this one. The welds are extremely nice, and I personally love the black finish.

This intercooler is probably double the size of the oem stock intercooler from my f150 2.7. Shipping was delayed a bit but super great customer service! Quality is on point, fits like a glove, and i got a cvf sticker 😁. Anyways love this intercooler wouldn't go any other brand besides cvf 🔥
