APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION
The active grille shutters (AGS) have to be removed for installation. There is no check engine light associated with removal of the AGS and they can be placed back on the vehicle if the intercooler is removed.

I have been driving around with my new titan 2 intercooler upgrade for about 3 days now. You're not going to get big gains from these mods. I know this. However, I have noticed a slight decrease in my charge air temperature on my cobb access port being as that I am running the goosetuned cobb tune.
I'm happy with the intercooler doing its job.

Install was 2/5, I needed to trim a 1/4in off the active grill shutters even after removing the intercooler shroud. IMO, the intercooler works best under load while the factory intercooler worked best with no load. This intercooler craves more flow to dissipate the heat very quickly. I've seen my IAT drop as low as 83°while pushing the pedal to the floor. I live in the Caribbean and this helps the engine breathe better. My mpg went from 10.5 to 11.7 also.

Installed on a 2022 F150 Platinum. Exceptionally well made and so much larger than OEM intercooler. Fits well. Had to remove plastic shroud and trim 1/2 inch from grille shutter assembly and my active grille shutters still work perfectly. I highly recommend removing plastic air dam assembly from front bumper during installation. This made lifting this beast into place much easier.
