      Improve the performance of your Bronco by replacing the small, inefficient stock intercooler to reduce heat and produce more top-end power. This intercooler is a direct fit replacement that features a core over 58% larger than the stock unit.
      As the charts show in the images above, the CVF Performacne Intercooler saw Charge Air Temps. (IAT2) DECREASE -9 degrees compared to the OEM intercooler's +22 degree INCREASE during a 20 - 80 MPH run under similar conditions: the same stretch of road, the same vehicle, and in the same ambient temps. (the only change to the vehicle was the intercooler).
      The CVF Performance Intercooler realized a whopping +31 degree improvement over the OEM intercooler in real-world street testing by an unbiased, third-party tester where it matters: on the street in day-to-day driving.

      Taking it one step further, the above chart shows that on the dyno the CVF Performance Intercooler alone yielded a +28HP and +45TQ gain on a 2.7L model. Note that this is WITHOUT a tune, which would help enhance the gains even further.
      EXCEPTIONAL CONSTRUCTION FOR MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY
      Manufactured from top-grade aluminum, the CVF Performance Intercooler features a TIG-welded proprietary bar-and-plate design for maximum durability and fully cast end tanks (imprinted with the CVF logo) to ensure maximum flow of air into the unit and out to your turbo - equaling more HP.
        APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION
        The active grille shutters (AGS) have to be removed for installation. There is no check engine light associated with removal of the AGS and they can be placed back on the vehicle if the intercooler is removed.

          This Intercooler is an absolute unit!

          Definitely a nice unit! Completely unplugged the grille shutters on my 2.3 that does not have acc and no check engine light at all. There may be a code on the Ford app but I don't have it. Didn't even leave the Sutter motor connected. Same dimensions as the Whipple unit at a far more affordable price. Couldn't be happier!

          Long time CVF fan here.

          I am a true CVF fan and was torn between the Wagner Intercooler on sale and this one. Boy am I glad I went CVF. The customer satisfaction is unmatched. Not to mentioned the warranty is great. Plenty of install videos to help you along the way too.

          Solid product

          Tested it out without the charge pipes and noticed and felt an improvement in throttle response. Consecutive pulls were all consistent (no power loss from heat soak). Adding the charge pipes and intake really completes the "breathability", and is 100% worth it.

          Tip: Ford likes to over-torque the factory brackets, which strips the threads, so be gentle removing bolts. I sprayed Kroil or WD40 on all of them after I found the first stripped bolt.
