Improve the performance of your Bronco by replacing the small, inefficient stock intercooler to reduce heat and produce more top-end power. This intercooler is a direct fit replacement that features a core over 58% larger than the stock unit.
As the charts show in the images above, the CVF Performacne Intercooler saw Charge Air Temps. (IAT2) DECREASE -9 degrees compared to the OEM intercooler's +22 degree INCREASE during a 20 - 80 MPH run under similar conditions: the same stretch of road, the same vehicle, and in the same ambient temps. (the only change to the vehicle was the intercooler).
The CVF Performance Intercooler realized a whopping +31 degree improvement over the OEM intercooler in real-world street testing by an unbiased, third-party tester where it matters: on the street, and not at the dyno.

APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION
The active grille shutters (AGS) have to be removed for installation. There is no check engine light associated with removal of the AGS and they can be placed back on the vehicle if the intercooler is removed.

I've done a lot of performance modifications to my Ford Bronco and spent a little too much time trying driving it like a Mustang :) I noticed the OEM intercooler wasn't able to keep up and my consecutive Dragy runs kept getting slower and slower due to heat soak.
Since installing the CVF Intercooler I've seen over a 20 degree drop in my IAT2/ACT2 readings. I would imagine the intercooler will do even better in the hot and humid summer months. I looked at a lot of intercoolers for the Ford Bronco and I don't think there's a better bang for your buck. Lifetime warranty, free shipping, and no taxes = No Brainer :)
I wouldn't hesitate recommending this intercooler to anyone looking for less heat soak, lower IAT2, and the ability to keep the HP you have. Even if you Bronco is stock, you can still definitely benefit from lower air charge temps.
Installation was really easy and took around 2 hours. I even made a step by step video to help you do it :)

I can't agree more with the previous five, 5-star reviews. Quality, fit, packing, ease of install and performance!
I ordered the intercooler along with the down pipe and exhaust kit and they all showed up super fast. I decided to install the components in phases to see the differences each mod made. The sound of the exhaust has opened up and improved since my previous exhaust post. It is quiter but I should have waited and let it break in more before reviewing. I now love it!
My wife got me a Rough Country bumper for Xmas so I installed the intercooler while everything was off the front end, pulling the vents out, and my Bronco doesn't have ACC so totally removed the box and mount.
I also installed the Ingen cold and hot charge pipes kit and the connections to the intercooler were spot on. It has taken a little time for the computer to learn and adjust but I can tell a difference and there is definitely more torque and power. I drove out to Nashville this week for work, 400 miles each way, running 65 to 78mph most of the way and averaged 18.8mpg for the trip. That was also experimenting with 89 octane going out and 93 coming back. 93 octane appeared to improve the mpg by 6 or 7 tenths of a point so the 18.8 average probably would be slightly more had I run it both ways.

I spent the day prior to install logging temperature so I could easily see the difference and this intercooler easily exceeds the cooling capacity of stock.
Easy install and I was able to get rid of all the front brackets because we didn't get acc, so the ic has a nice clear path now.
