STAINLESS STEEL CONSTRUCTION
Manufactured from high quality 3" T304-grade stainless steel tubing for superior strength and corrosion resistance, this CVF downpipe features smooth mandrel bends throughout the piping to improve exhaust flow, equaling more power and better performance.
FITS BOTH OEM AND AFTERMARKET EXHAUSTS
CVF's Catted Downpipe can be installed onto an aftermarket 3" cat-back exhaust as well as the factory 2.25" cat-back exhaust with the use of a 3" to 2.25" adapter.

Had to replace the stick downpipe. Figured might as well add power and sound into the replacement. sounds pretty good wayyy louder and deeper. overall price not bad, your paying for quality. 10/10 purchase and would recommend.

I recently received the catted downpipe for my EcoBoost Mustang from CVFab, and it arrived on time. The customer service was exceptional. I had numerous questions before purchasing as I was torn between the catted and non-catted versions, but the CVFab customer service team patiently addressed all my concerns. This level of support, along with their unbeatable price, was one of the main reasons I chose CVFab over other brands.
The quality of the downpipe is excellent, and the welds are flawless. Before buying, I read various blog posts and reviews on different downpipes but couldn’t find clear answers to my specific build questions. The CVFab team, however, provided all the information I needed.
For anyone wondering about the need for a custom tune, it’s not necessary, but mileage may be affected, and the performance gains will be slightly lower. In my case, I had a Ford Performance tune installed instead of a custom tune. I missed out on a few extra single-digit horsepower gains, but I’m satisfied with the Ford Performance tune, and losing 2-3 horsepower wasn’t a big deal for me. To avoid a CEL (Check Engine Light), an O2 spacer is required. I've paired my downpipe with a Borla resonator delete Y-pipe and Borla Atak mufflers, which have made my entire exhaust system louder. With a similar setup, you can expect noticeable performance gains, pops and bangs at lower RPMs, and gunshot sounds around the 3000 RPM range.
