As the charts above indicate, during independent testing we've observed a reduction of over 35 degrees in Charge Air Temperature where it matters most: on the street, and not at the dyno (the same vehicle under similar conditions for both the OEM and CVF Performance Intercooler runs). Great build quality, would definitely recommend. Very Noticeable difference on the top end and power stays on after driving around a while which obviously means less heat soak. Like someone else mentioned don’t be shy trimming the radiator support or you’ll be messing with it much longer than necessary.

Installed it this morning on my wife's 2017 Explorer Sport. Took about 3.5 hours by myself, that's from start to test drive. The 2 most difficult parts of the install was getting the houses off the old intercooler, and figuring out how much of the plastic shroud I needed to cut to make it fit. Don't be shy with your dremel or cutting tool, just go for it the 1st time!

I want to give a big shout out CVF. They have stayed in touch with me during the whole process of releasing there new intercooler for the 2017 Ford Explorer Sport 3.5L Ecoboost. The day they released it they personally contacted me letting me know it is now up on the site. Even before there was pictures, they sent me pictures! If you are looking for a quality intercooler for your 2019 explorer sport this is it! Heat soak is almost nonexistent. My explorer is tuned and never have a issue out if it where with the stock intercooler after about 3 hard pulls you could feel the stock ine robbing power and my MPGs have improved also. The installation is straightforward. Cv fabrication have a customer for life!
