Full disclosure: I’ve been testing and dailying a pre-production CVF High mount intercooler for a few months now, but CVF did not provide this intercooler to me for free.
To keep in simple, I’ve tested the OEM, CVF Performance intercooler and now this CVF’s High mount intercooler. In my opinion this CVF High mount intercooler is the best intercooler you can buy for the 2.3L/2.7L Ford Bronco.
I own a 2.7L Ford Bronco with a ton of performance modifications, including a ZFG Racing E85 custom tune. My Bronco currently makes over 400 WHP and was the first 6G Ford Bronco to officially run a 12 second ¼ mile time. While CVF’s Performance intercooler is great for owners with stock or mild performance modifications, this high mount is for owners that want it all. The fact is, stock location intercoolers get the job done, but they don’t maintain charge air temps like this intercooler does. If you’re serious about extracting all the power out of your Ford Bronco, then look no further than this CVF’s High Mount Intercooler.

It’s a lot of work to install but 100% worth the effort. The quality and fit were perfect. My AITs are 10 to 15degrees above ambient no matter how hard I push it. Combined CVF high flow cats ,cruiser cat back and Ford performance tune it’s a beast.
