This thing is a full inch thicker than factory and all welded aluminum ... 10lbs heavier than the stock unit. You almost think its not going to fit or your going to have mod things.
Fit perfect.... I had to trim an inch off the front of the flat air diverter that bolts to the top of the factory intercooler when installing it on the new intercooler for my grill to fit back in. ONLY mod i had to make and it took 5 mins with some snips.
I recommend getting the hot and cold piping kit as well to take full advantage of the intercooler. However, the factory hot and cold piping will mate right up to this new intercooler. Do yourself a favor and do the piping kit at the same time... much easier to do it all at once.
CVF prices is much cheaper than the other guys and they give you a five off if you just subscribe to their emails. Also check out the clamps they use over the other guys.. not simple worm clamps these are heavy duty.
They pay the tax for you and the shipping!!!

The prpducts is really good at with it supposed to. It has way larger area of cooling and provided with great support for the tuning of my truck.
Only 2 drawbacks
-top cover screws and boost sensors doesn't fit as OEM
-Welds are inconsistent on the intercooler.
Overral good product for the price.

19 Hennessey Ranger Velociraptor, professionally upgraded by local shop. Hennessey missed the mark leaving stock intercooler. UNREAL ability to push more boost, and it doesn’t fall on its face at top end. No stencil all black out. Will post dyno results after tune

I bought this to match with the CVF charge pipes i have. Install was a breeze and the black looks great up front as opposed to the factory silver. I opted to paint on the stencil. There is a lot more weight than factory cooler, but that also means it's bigger, sturdier, and more beneficial. Not to mention, the price point was great!

I haven't had a chance to install this yet, but from initial inspection, it is of top notch quality. The welds and brackets are all high quality. I expect this to be a valuable add to my Ranger that helps lower IATs and minimizes heat soak.
