The CVF Performance Intercooler for 2020-2023 Ford Explorer ST is a direct fit replacement that is over two times the size of the stock unit. As the charts above indicate, during independent testing we've observed a reduction of over 85 degrees in Charge Air Temperature where it matters: on the street, and not at the dyno (the same vehicle under similar conditions for both the OEM and CVF Performance Intercooler runs).
EXCEPTIONAL CONSTRUCTION FOR MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY
Manufactured from top-grade aluminum, the CVF Performance Intercooler features a TIG-welded bar-and-plate design for maximum durability and fully cast end tanks to ensure maximum flow of air into the unit and out to your turbo - equaling more HP. As with all of our products, the Performance Intercooler is covered under our Lifetime Warranty against manufacturer's defects.
The Aluminum Pipe Kit expands the OEM dimensions and outflows the OEM cold-side pipe by 28% and hot-side pipes by 15%. The kit includes CVF-branded 4-ply couplers and T-Bolt clamps.

Great intercooler! I had to modify the lower support legs, due to the interceptor having an oil cooler that the ST doesn't. Would be nice if you offered a different set of supports for us FPIU owners . Thanks for a quality product guys !

Haven’t had a chance to install yet but the packaging the intercooler came in is top notch. I’ve had an intercooler core for my last car come in with everything else I ordered stuffed in the same box. No serious damage however there were ALOT of bent fins front and back. This IC core looks perfect! Not one bent fin. Shipping was super fast as well. Took two days to get to my doorstep.

The kit came with no missing pieces and no fitment issues. I installed it by myself in an afternoon. The build quality is great. Before / after datalogs show a 57*F reduction in charge temps. That is nuts!

Ordered the bundle package and just got it in. I haven’t put it on yet but super excited about putting it on tomorrow. Haven't installed it yet but it was all packaged well, I unpacked the intercooler and its a beast and the quality seems very good. The hot and cold size piping that is required for the 25's are very nice, I like the finish of the powder coat. Can't wait to put it on
